Waterfall Pumps

When choosing a pond waterfall pump, it is  recommended looking for one that is both energy efficient as well as easy to install and use.  Submersible pumps are by far the easiest to install, and just drop into the bottom of the pond.

Just hook up your plumbing (usually flexible tubing) and run it to your waterfall, and your ready to go.  The disadvantage of most submersible pumps are that they are not very energy efficient.  In most cases, however, these are the best choice.

I like and recommend using a pond waterfall pump that has a built in pre-filter, and can even handle small solids without clogging.  A small pump is not recommended, that will clog easily and require daily cleaning or maintenance
